Salary: based on £15.00ph plus sleep-ins

About the Role:
We are seeking passionate and committed Support Workers to join a newly established residential service for children and young people aged 4–16 with learning disabilities and EBD. The service is located in the beautiful New Forest area and provides a safe, nurturing home that empowers children to thrive.
In this role, you will support the children’s emotional, physical, and developmental needs, promote independence, and ensure a safe and inclusive environment.
Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting daily routines including personal care, meals, and household tasks

Promoting educational, recreational, and social activities

Encouraging independence and positive relationships

Maintaining strong communication with families and significant others
-
Keeping accurate records and implementing personalised care plans
-
Upholding safeguarding standards and professional best practices
The position involves working on a rota basis, including weekends and sleep-in shifts. Details will be provided during the interview.

Requirements:
Essential:

Right to work in the UK (proof required)
-
GCSE grade C or above in English and Maths (or equivalent)

Minimum of 6 months’ experience supporting children or young people

Basic computer literacy

Willingness to complete a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (if not already held)

Commitment to safer recruitment processes, including satisfactory references and enhanced DBS check
Desirable:

Level 3 Diploma (or higher) in Residential Childcare

Full UK driving licence
-
Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, or complex needs
